Missing instructions and incorrect use are the most significant causes of accidents and occupational injuries involving machinery and tools on building sites. If you are in any doubt, read the instructions for use and observe the safety rules, and only use machinery and tools that are in order. This reduces the risk of occupational injuries.

All machines, technical aids and contract machinery on the building site must be approved, CE-labelled and maintained properly. There must always be instructions for use in Danish, and machinery must only be used by people if they can operate it safely and correctly. Note that many machines must not be used by people aged under 18.
