Working and being on the roof must be possible without risking falling from or through the roof. Keep an eye on the following:

• When constructing a new building, T1 laths sorted according to strength must be used.
• During renovation, the laths must be marked T1 and bear the name of the manufacturer.
• Existing laths which are not of the necessary strength must be replaced with T1 laths.
• Alternatively, suitable safety arrangements must be established to counter the risk of falling through.
